Take a one hour guided tour (need reservations) and get an up close and personal tour of the winter olympic facilities used in the 2002 Winter Olympics Games. The park is buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm as it has been designated as the host of 2034 Winter Olympics. You can even join a pro on the bobsled run or take advantage of the Alpine Slide or zip lines at the park.
Main Street is a must! You will find anything from a cold beer to a fine fur shop. We're talking fantastic dining and shopping for everything from handmade furniture, books and sportswear to art collectibles and Western antiques. Historic Main Street is lined with quaint shops, galleries, and restaurants.
One of our favorite summer activities is a private guided fly fishing excursion. It's around $300 per person, but you are nearly guaranteed to catch fish. Show up "as is," and the guide will completely outfit you and your crew. The two outfitters we love are Trout Bum 2 or Park City Fly Fishing Guides. A half day on the Provo or Weber River is highly recommended!
There are a number of great golf courses that you may want to play! We would recommend Park City Municipal course or the Wasatch Mountain course.
There are endless hiking trails that can be found on All Trails but our absolute favorite is a day trip over to Sundance Mountain Resort.
A 45 minute scenic drive will take you up the mountain where you can park at the Stewart Falls trailhead and hike in to see the waterfall. Make your way back to the main lodge where you can dine at the Foundry Grill (reservations needed). Sundance also offers a gondola ride up to the top where you can enjoy the most amazing views. Take the gondola back down or catch the zip line tour back to the bottom!
